Confirming your email

Why new accounts hold vendor emails until the owner clicks the confirmation link, and how to get a new link.

When you sign up, we email a confirmation link to the address you signed up with. Until you click it, GreenlightSubs holds every email it would send to your vendors.

This stops someone from signing up with a fake address and using GreenlightSubs to email strangers.

What is held, and what isn't

  • Held: upload requests, automatic reminders and "please re-upload" notices to your vendors.
  • Not held: your own emails, such as team invites, password resets, upload alerts and the daily digest.

Held emails are not lost. They wait in the queue and show as Queued under Sent emails. As soon as you confirm, they go out.

While your email is unconfirmed, a yellow Confirm your email banner sits at the top of every page in the app.

Confirm your email

  1. Find the email titled Confirm your email for GreenlightSubs. Check your spam or junk folder if it isn't in your inbox.
  2. Click Confirm my email. It works whether or not you're logged in.
  3. You'll see "Email confirmed. Your vendor emails are on their way."
  1. Log in. In the yellow banner, click Resend link.
  2. Use the newest email. Each new link replaces the previous one, so older links stop working.

A link is valid for 7 days. You can ask for a new one about once a minute.

Good to know

  • Only the account owner confirms. Teammates who join by invite don't need to.
  • Demo sandboxes never send email, so they don't need confirming.
  • Your login email can't be changed from inside the app. If you signed up with the wrong address, contact support.
